Emergency Lighting
We have a storm coming through and hopefully the power won't go out, but if it does I already have a plan. See you can take a glass jar and fill with your kid's broken crayons. Stand a couple of these up in the bottom and light the tips so they catch fire. Depending on the length of crayon depends on how long it will burn. A full size crayon will burn for about 30 min. You can reuse this over and over by adding crayons on top of the melted ones. Once full just scrape them out and place the shaving into molds, and remelt them down. They make a whole new set of crayons in the shape of you or your children's choosing. Keep checking back for new ways for you on how to home, and how to clean at the site www.howtohome.org
