Learn how to clean and care for you, the home and garden using basic ingredient's you already have around the home.

Here at howtohome.org you are going to learn through the site, my blog, and through video tutorials how to care completely natural for you and your home. Were also going out to the garden.
Today it is more important then ever that we try to eliminate both waste and chemicals in our homes. We hear to much of new diseases hitting our newspapers, and our televisions. We hear how cancer rates are doubling but we act like we don't know why! My family currently lives in Maysville, GA.
Anytime we drive down towards Atlanta you run straight into smog. Yes, that haze one sees hovering above the freeway. Some days the haze is so thick that it seems as if your setting in a wet steam room, where you can barely see let alone breath. When driving down the freeway you see smog alert's miles before you reach downtown. Warnings given out for the young, elderly, and the weak to stay inside.
Yes pollution is a big problem, and one person cannot take care of it all. But we can make a difference. We can make a difference by doing away with aerosol sprays and cans. Heck we can recycle as well! These are the main starting points many will start with in their green efforts. Other then that some of just don't know what else we can do to make a dent in the effort.
I am here to say that it all start's with small steps. Without steps, we never make it to our destination. So what are the small steps I'm speaking of? I'm speaking of the cleaners, pesticides, and pure toxic chemicals we bring in everyday to our own families!
I think some of us see the end clean results of using the chemicals and cleaners. As much as were happy that Raid killed the roach, ant, or bee. But do we ever notice the risks to both our families and ourselves by doing so? Do we really know what is causing the outbreak in cancer over the years? Or do we know why exactly our babies are being born with birth defects or autism?
I truly believe we are poisoning ourselves and don't even realize it! That's why I'm here. This is why my website has been built. It is to bring awareness. It's about teaching you how to clean, both effectively and on a budget. After years of research, and myself doing the "green" natural thing, I decided it was time to share my knowledge with others. This is where you can take your small first steps, this is the start of a healthy journey for you and your family. So what is this site I'm talking about?
